Sandblasting

Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very small fragments of media at high speeds to clean a surface. Sandblasting is used to completely strip away a surface, providing a clean slate. This method for cleaning is often used to prime a surface for the application of paint epoxies or sealants. Sandblasting is highly effective at removing virtually all imperfections on a surface, enabling coatings to adhere to the substrate as there is less chance of contaminants trapped on the surface.
