Stray Cat are pleased to be the first and only company in North America, to offer FuelVac, a revolutionary new double skin lining system, with integrated leak detection. Working in conjunction with Abfad, a UK based industry leader in tank lining technology, Stray Cat are now able to install and commission the system, which provides a highly robust liner with Class 1 (the highest level possible) vacuum monitored leak detection.
The system utilizes double skin technology, creating a vacuum between two layers of epoxy resin. This vacuum can be remotely monitored by various types of monitoring equipment, providing 24/7 oversight of liner condition, without the need for down time and inspections.
Stray Cat’s experienced coatings crews are able to install and commission the system from start to finish, giving the client piece of mind that the finished product will provide years of reliable containment, with significantly reduced maintenance.
Chris Morris, General Manager at Stray Cat commented: “The FuelVac system is a game changer in tank lining and containment technology. There has long been a need for a reliable lining system, that provides remote monitoring and in turn, reduces maintenance significantly. We’re very excited to be the first company in North America to offer this system, and I’m really looking forward to delivering it to our customers.”
